Das Dead Bait Rig von Black Cat ist ein Spezial-System für die Verwendung toter Köderfische beim aktiven Fischen auf Waller vom treibenden Boot. Dem Köderfisch wird der Bleikern eingefädelt und er erhält dadurch eine leicht taumelnde Bewegung. Mit einer langsamen Rutenbewegung wird das Dead Bait Rig dann dicht am Grund geführt und in langsamen Sprüngen bewegt, oder aber mit schnellen, ruckartigen Bewegungen gejiggt. So wird der nächste Großwaller nicht lange auf sich warten lassen.
